I heard that Marina Vallarta is the largest marina development in all of Mexico. I don’t know if that fact is true, but what I can confirm is that it’s a very nice zone in Puerto Vallarta; it was pretty near to Mayanresorts, where I stayed. I really had a great time at Mayanresorts, they have an excellent service and their facilities are amazing. There many hotels around the marina, but I’m sure mayanresorts is the best or one of the best I the zone.

Most of the day I spent my time at the pool or the beach, but almost every day like at 7 went for a walk at the marina; I had dinner in 2 of its restaurants for a couple of days. One of the restaurants I visited was “El Faro”, which is a building representing a lighthouse. It has a very nice view and you can take wonderful pictures from the top of “El Faro”. An excellent service like at mayanresorts.

At Marina Vallarta you will find many stores to buy whatever you want and whatever you need, from groceries to souvenirs. Also you’ll see a great variety of restaurants, a golf course, spas, beautiful houses and of course lots of boats of every type and shape. So next time you visit Puerto Vallarta don’t forget to take a walk at the marina.

I wanted to prepare something very special, a couple doesn’t reach more than 30 years of marriage in this days. I spoke to the manager of MayanResorts or someone who helped me in a very kindly way and I gave to my wife the best romantic dinner ever. I asked my wife to be ready at 8:00; I took her to the Samba Restaurant which is beside a very nice pool with colorful lights and fountains, you can’t imagine the marvelous view we had there. The Restaurant personnel helped out getting a couple of candles so our table could be the more romantic one in the whole place. I arranged with a waiter not to take us the order, and instead I preferred they just bring the wine and a special dinner I choose.

My wife told me she felt like in paradise, maybe heaven…all the nice attentions, a perfect ambiences for us, a glass of Merlot, a 3 course meal starting with an extravagant but delicious salad, a tangy grilled steak with a scrumptious smash potatoes and finally, a special dessert for us, for our anniversary. It was a chocolate brownie with some vanilla ice cream and 35 choco chips, one for each year I have spent with her. I can’t forget my wife’s face, she was totally astonished, and she had no idea about this surprise I planned for her. Definitely MayanResorts is a great place for a romantic “soirée” with the person you most love in the world. I know I’m kind of twee, but that’s how my wife fell in lob with me.

The Indian cuisine is not all about spices, biriyanis and curries. The Indian dishes also benefit from the combined knowledge of Ayuvedic and the day to day ingredients incorporated in the dishes. Ayurveda is India’s science of health, longevity, and life and in this science; the food plays a very important role in promoting good health and is also considered as medicine that fights diseases and virus effectively. Dating back more than five thousand years ago, no other form of health care in the country has been given the respect Ayurveda receives and this is one of the reasons why the Vedas cuisine served in Mayanresorts is greatly patronized and sought after by the so many believers of Vedas.

It is so ironic how something as important as nutrition has become neglected and overlooked in the health care system in the modern days and how for the sake of convenience the fast paced society has permitted the fast foods, take away, canned goods, quick fix meals, microwaves, and eating on run to go through the human system. With the hike in the unhealthy eating habits and growing obesity, it is imperative to learn more and focus on the understanding the important role of nutrition in maintaining a healthy lifestyle and good health. It is not needed to take in tablets for every little health problem a person experiences because there are actually natural ingredients and healthy foods that can be used to cure and treat these problems. This is what the restaurants in Mayanresorts focus on; to provide temporary healing that may be permanent in the long run through the lessons provided by the Mayanresorts as well.

The chefs employed by the restaurants in Mayanresorts believe in using the natural ingredients such as herbs and spices incorporated with the Ayurvedic knowledge in food preparation and cooking. The Ayurvedic recipes that can always be found in the menu of the restaurants in Mayanresorts are tested by the customers to make them feel them better when they don’t feel well.

Do you know that some of the dishes in the Mayanresorts are simple and you can even prepare them yourself when you are at home? Some of them are prepared with the use of common ingredients and you will be surprised to see them right in your own kitchen. One of the best dishes in the menu of the Mayanresorts is called the Tambuli or the Tambli. You don’t even need to cook with this dish. All you need to use are chilled Yogurt and freshly-grate coconut. Other ingredients such as onion, Brahmi, and Jeera are also used in preparing Tambuli. Some Vedas practitioners attested that Tambli is very effective in the treatment of diarrhea. In fact, some people in India even say that Tambli is more effective than bitter diarrhea tablets!

There are a lot more dishes in the Vedas cuisine that are proven to have good benefits for the body. Know them yourself by visiting Mayanresorts and discover the cuisine that really heals!
